What has four stripes, pops of color, and is 100% snuggly? This easy and free quilt pattern, that's what! Meet Punch Lines, the newest quilt pattern in the Wren Collective lineup. And did I mention that it's free?

Punch Lines - Throw Size
I decided to offer this easy and free quilt pattern in two different size options: baby and throw size.
For the throw size, I used some gorgeous Art Gallery Fabrics PURE solids in the colors Mediterraneo, Northern Waters, Lemon Tart, and Ocean Fog. The background fabric was either a Moda or Kona solid that I had on hand.
This quilt is a fast make!! I had a throw size top whipped up in just one afternoon.
My friend, Haley of Mistletoe Quilting Co, did an AMAZING job with this throw size Punch Lines. I love the pantograph we decided on. The rope effect is a great pairing with the linear lines of the pattern.
Here are some close up shots; this quilting is divine! I chose an Art Gallery Fabrics PURE solid in the color "Terracotta Tile" as the backing. As a result, the backing is unexpectedly my favorite part of this quilt!
PUNCH LINES - art gallery PURE solids version
This version of Punch Lines was made as an end-of-the-year teacher's gift. As a result, my six year old got to be my assistant. All of the colored strips used in this version are Art Gallery PURE solids from Lamb and Loom. The colors used are:
Blushing
Blossomed
Sugar Plum
Sweet Fig
We attached a homemade label to the back that featured a sweet message from my daughter in her own handwriting, and that was a hit with her teacher! A step-by-step video label tutorial lives HERE under the "Quilt Label" highlight.
Punch Lines - Baby Size
Baby size instructions are included in this free quilt pattern. This version is a combination of AGF PURE solids and vanilla peppered cotton for the background, making it a dream to hand quilt!
The colors below are Forest Night, Eucalyptus, Fresh Sage, and Sweet Macadamia. The background is a peppered cotton in the color Vanilla.
The texture of hand quilting just can't be beat. This peppered cotton was a dream to hand quilt through!
Warm and Plush 100% cotton batting was easy to quilt through and has a slightly higher loft than traditional cotton batting. In other words, very cloud-like!
Check out that finished quilt! This quilt pattern is my new go-to for baby gifts, teacher gifts, wedding gifts, etc. (It's free and easy AND fast!)
And that's a wrap! I hope you love Punch Lines! If you make it, please make sure to tag it on social media using the hashtags #punchlinesquilt and #wrencollectivepatterns
See you next time!
