Ivy League Quilt Pattern Release

Ivy League quilt pattern can be found in the Wren Collective pattern shop.

I created this pattern several months ago as part of the Sonata Showcase (click HERE to see the very first version of Ivy League before it was Ivy League.) I honestly wasn't planning on creating a pattern for that quilt, but I decided to go for it after I received a few requests for the pattern. I'm so glad I dove right in! Creating Wren Collective's first pattern has been a humbling and amazing experience. It would not have been possible without help and support from so many of my family and friends. You guys know who you are, so if you're reading this: you know how much you mean to me so I won't get too ooey-gooey here. So, without further ado, here are several variations of the Ivy League quilt pattern:

Ombre

This version is the cover photo version and is the second Ivy League quilt I made. It consists of Kona Cotton, and Fabric Bubb has a kit to make the throw size with these fabrics. You can find the kit HERE.

Skin Tones Bundle Ivy League

This version of the Ivy League quilt pattern utilizes the Skin Tones Bundle curated by Jennilee of Emma Noelle Designs. This bundle is so incredibly rich and soft.

Rainbow Ivy League

This rainbow version is very near and dear to my heart because it was requested by my four year old daughter. She helped me choose the colors and helped throughout the entire process as much as she could. I made a throw size and a wall hanging in this color way. Cottoneer has a kit for the throw size using these exact fabrics which can be found HERE.

Faraway Places Baby Ivy League

This baby sized Ivy League was made up of the Faraway Places fabric from Elizabeth Olwen. It is one of my favorite lines ever; the llamas are just too cute for words. This actual quilt is for sale and can be found HERE or if you're in the Yarmouth, Maine area you can stop into Smith's General and see it in person!

Seamed To Be

Robin of Seamed to Be is has become a fast quilting friend of mine. She is uber talented and just a delight to visit with. I love her modern Christmas take on the Ivy League quilt pattern. The pops of pink are so great, and that candy cane binding is just so perfect! Robin can be found HERE on Instagram and HERE on her website.

Peony and Fern

Claire is one of my quilty BFFs; I'm honored that someone so talented and nice puts up with all of my ramblings about not only quilt related things, but life in general. Her quilting skills are next level, seriously. I don't know anyone who can get their quilting lines straighter than Claire. Someday she will have to show me her secret. I adore her version of Ivy League; it almost creates an optical illusion and looks like it's on fire! Claire can be found on Instagram HERE and on her website HERE.

XOX Sew

Donna of XOXSEW is seriously super super impressive; she can crank out quilts like nobody's business. Does this woman ever sleep? Case in point: she made not one, but TWO versions of Ivy League. What?! How awesome. Donna can be found HERE on Instagram and HERE on her website. I love her spin on the Ivy League quilt pattern:

Ashley Fox Studio

Ashley whipped up this AMAZING throw size quilt and I'm just in awe. Her color placement is so serene. I could stare at this quilt all day! I can't wait to see how she quilts it up. Ashley does some amazing work, so make sure you check her out on Instagram HERE.

The Blanket Statement

My home girl Erin of The Blanket Statement went scrappy with her Ivy League wall hanging, and I could not love it more! It looks SO good. Plus, how adorable is her face?! I definitely need to do a scrappy version soon. You can find Erin on Instagram HERE or on her website HERE.

Mykayla Sygulla

Mykayla is my fellow neutral loving home girl! Her aesthetic is so soothing, so I was really excited to see what she would would do with the Ivy League quilt pattern. I was SO not disappointed! Grays on grays on grays on grays....drooling. Be sure to check her out HERE on Instagram and HERE on her blog.

KH Quilts

Krystina of KH Quilts is no stranger to quilt design and designs the COOLEST quilts, so I was thrilled when she said she could test Ivy League for me. She made the most gorgeous throw size quilt, and even used a print in there! She is the queen of solids, so seeing her use a print was super cool. I cannot wait to see how she quilts hers up; word on the street is that she is going to try some free motion quilting on it! You can find Krystina HERE on Instagram and HERE on her website.

Homemade Emily Jane

Emily made the COOLEST baby size Ivy League quilt. It is even hand quilted! Hand quilting is one of my weaknesses, so I'm totally swooning over here. She used the prettiest solids from PBS fabrics for the front and a watermelon backing! Such an awesome summer quilt. Her sweet dog, Beau, even made an appearance in the photos! You can find Emily HERE on Instagram and HERE on her blog.

Until next time,

XO Rach

Hey there!

Rachel from Wren Collective

Welcome to Wren Collective. I’m so excited that you decided to stop by! I am a modern quilter based in Omaha, Nebraska. Besides quilting, I enjoy family movie nights, reading mystery novels, and waking up early to a quiet house. In my spare time, you can usually find me microwaving coffee from earlier in the morning and lint rolling thread off of my pants.
