Fall sewing projects are among my all-time favorite things to make. There is just something about a crisp morning paired with my sewing machine and hot cup of coffee that just makes me so happy!

Chelsea from Sew Simple Home has put together a tutorial for a super cozy DIY braided fleece blanket. This blanket would make the perfect weekend project to make and take to chilly fall ball games! High school evening football games especially come to mind!
MaryAnne shows you how to sew a Harry Potter weighted blanket in this tutorial. As a huge Harry Potter fan myself and someone who is intrigued by weighted blankets, this tutorial is amazing!
